Just Messing Around!

Found this while I was wandering around. I shot it with the cup for a sense of scale.

BTW...

This is a small pine cone. I'm waiting for the big one to fall off the tree. :)

Wow, what a nice flower Pete. Too bad you don't have some kind of black background you could hang behind it. The brick wall just remove interest from the flower. Maybe just a black umbrella on a light stand or anything would be better than the brick. But nice and sharp shot for sure.

This is just what the thread is about… messing around.Shot in my backyard hand held 3sec exposure f4. I still got an image.

Maybe I don't need a D800 after all ;)

"just messing around" with some night shots. . . heres the whole fountain from my other thread in the critique forums. . . this shot was easier to take but i liked the challenge of putting a subject in the shot and using the fountain as the background. . .anyways, i was pleased with this one. . .used a bit of photoshop to tighten it up. . .enjoy. . .

Another done with nothing but a landscape. The tripod was in the car but I wanted to have out of focus soft old time image, so I was standing and held the camera for the whole exposure. It has character.

That's pretty cool, Marcel. I would have guessed it was much shorter than 30 seconds. (You obviously haven't had enough to drink!) :sneakiness:

These are leaf clusters that I found on the way to get the newspaper that was NOT delivered this morning!

Me and that paperboy are rapidly coming to a parting of the ways. :(
