Very cool pics! The only spiders I see here are Black Widows and Brown Recluse...and they get smashed on site. Or sprayed with carburetor cleaner...

Thanks Dave. I think your Black Widow is the same as our Red Back Spider, they don't last long here either. The Jumpers are a different story though, I don't harm them in any way.

I've never seen colors on a spider like your jumpers! Very neat.

Yeah, some of our nasty spiders get dealt with pretty quickly. The little jumpers are OK though.

I thought you were on top of your macro techniques last time I saw some of your shots.
I may have a slight edge on the DOF because I am using a shorter lens ( 55mm ) not sure how much difference it makes though.
