Without the EXIF its difficult but it looks a bit like you had under exposed areas in the back ground you have pulled up a bit.

First - Its a very nice shot,

My Thoughts - IMHO the columns are too muted, the subject of the shot is the big cat statue can't stop looking at it. Would have liked to see more of the columns perhaps changing the camera angle to have them take up the whole of the background.

have to agree. I probably would not have noticed the columns without them being mentioned. Puddy Cat dominates but still a nice shot.
