What you talkin about Willis?? They did not drop the in-body focus motor because the 5100 never had one. You can't drop something you never had;) Disable the manual focus?? What?? Dude, what are you talking about? the 3200 is in no way an Auto camera. it still has the A, P, M and S modes, just like every other Nikon DSLR. 7200?? I am just going to stop there because i have no idea what you are talking about.

Exactly. The D7000 is the entry level to Nikon's in-camera drives. The D5200 has more and better features than the D7000. The D3200 is not an "auto camera" any more than a D7000 is, or a D5200 will be.

Nothing exciting enough to want to jump ship from a D5100 then...

Given the current cashback offers in the UK at least, the D3100, D3200, and D5100 make for some VERY interesting and cheap buys.
New kit prices currently (before cashback);
D5200 - £819
D5100 - £401
D3200 - £420
D3100 - £300
For anyone looking to pick up a new DSLR, the D5100 is extremely well placed to sell like hot cakes :)

I'm happy to live with my D5100 until I outgrow it in a few years, and as I've said before, by then we'll be on the D6300 or something, but hopefully by then I'll be wanting a D7900 :p

The bronze (from the back) looks nice, but is spoilt at the front....
Maybe a hybrid would be nice - bronze back, normal (black) front!! ;)
