I pay under $10 a month and it was well worth it to me, even though I am on disability income. I am the trial an error type learner, so needless to say I am no expert!lol
When you get back to work, I highly recommend CC for the lightroom and Photoshop apps. I don't understand the cloud and don't use it as far as I know!lol But the post processing app I used before was much much harder to use and had a way way poorer final photo!
I also highly recommend shooting raw if you post process. The final outcome can be way better than you get from post processing jpg files. These are just my suggestions from my own experience. Once you get use to post processing Raw files, you won't likely want to do it any other way!

Learning software on YouTube is sometimes tough for me. Many times they rush through the process (yes, I replay it over and over), or their version of the software is different from mine.
Once I am employed again I may consider CC. Right now I can't even upgrade Elements.
I really want a paycheck so I can get back in the NAS game! And pay the rent....
