Reading WWII weekend at the Mid Atlantic Air Museum was last weekend. It's a very neat event.

Here's a shot taken two weeks ago when the weather was very stormy.

I used my 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 G II lens which punches well above its weight, especially bearing in mind its price!

There is a wonderful display of Foxglove in our garden so I decided to use the Nikon 105mm F2 Defocus Image Control lens to see how it could render the flowers.
All photos were taken hand-held, wide open at F2 and the really soft focus ones were made by pushing the defocus control all the way to 5.6 rear setting.

Anyway, less chat here are the photos and I do hope you like the soft muted colours!

I'm not a fan of soft focus...to me the first two look out of focus, while the third is crystal sharp...very good

So Oprah is filming the movie "Selma" here in and around Montgomery, AL and the other day I was driving downtown and came across the movie cars parked in a lot and I just happened to have my d7100 with me. I only had my Tamron 18-270 with me but some of the shots turned out decent. Just thought I'd share.
