Have long wanted to get a photo of this bridge since it was refurbished. Finally caught it this morning with the lights still on. Got 2 exposures and adjusted my settings, looked up and the lights had just gone off. If you snooze, you lose. it was somewhat tricky to get this with the nifty 50. will go back another day to get a different angle._AAA4149 - Version 2 - 2014-12-23 at 09-36-02.jpg

Wish I had seen this thread before we got on the road...would explain why I packed the 50mm/1.8 along with the 24-120/4 as I walked out the door. :)

FYI, I've only broken out the Nikon once over the holiday to do a family portrait. All my 50mm stuff has been with the Sony a6000, if only because of the size, weight, convenience, and the fact that I'm not losing all that much in terms of IQ. It's at least as good as my D7100.

Here's one at ISO 6400, denoised and grain added back in LR finishing for effect.
