A good place to start on composition is to study the Rule of Thirds. Here is a place to start

As with any rule this is a starting point and in most cases is a pretty good one.

Vultures are bald. I've taken lots of vulture photos this summer. I'm getting really good at recognizing those bald-headed scavengers. It's a raptor, not sure which specific species but pretty sure it's a hawk.
