A day at the pool!

Nice sunset tonight. This shot was looking at Mount Mansfield in Stowe, Vermont. If you look hard you can see the ski trails. For those of you out west in Canada and the States, your sunset is on its way!!!

Not able to do a lot of photography as of late. Took out the 105mm macro this afternoon since I have been jealous of how good Marcel's macro's have been. A couple hundred shots and voila, one worth posting!

You have taken a bland subject and made it interesting. I like the angle of the daisies instead of the typical straight up portrait or landscape layout. I would have liked to see the grass with a little more pop (vibrance) in post.

A little R&R yesterday to take advantage of some rare great weather. Stumbled upon some guys doing some extreme stunts on water boards.

When I shoot the moon, I always have lens flare. The 70-300 was very bad flare. The following was shot with the 24-70mm and still get the flare. Pretty good moon out there tonight, but not able to get a good capture. I'm certainly up for suggestions?

AMG, As Joseph mentioned, the blur is a personal preference. The blur gives me a sense of soft motion, where a faster shutter speed freezes the water. The following photo is of the same waterfall at a different time with the motion frozen for the most part. So I will shoot waterfalls both...
