Well just got asked to do some photography for a real estate company here in Darwin, have given them a pricing per property, they have accepted $150 per property max 10 images with minor editing.
Is going to be interestingCongrats Scott, should be a nice little earner for you.
Well done!
Well done Scott - I do some real estate images for a company from time to time. Dust of your wide angle lens!
Good job!
Congrats, Scott! Sounds quite interesting. So what wide angle lens do you own?
I have the 14mm 2.8 Rokinon and the 16-35 Nikkor. I may get a 12-24 Nikkor though.
Yes that one lol, but I think for now I should be able to use my 16-35 if I am unable to source the 14-24 in time.Do you mean the 14-24mm? If so, it should serve you well...I've only heard good things about it!
Once I get some shots I will post here. I have only done it for fun so getting paid to do it will be an interesting challenge.I'm interested to see any work or workshops that you do for these. I had some people ask about shooting their buildings for kicks and I know there's an art form to it. So it would be interesting to see your process.
They are private properties and I have based the price on an average sized property with minimal/basic editing.Congrats! Is this commercial or family properties? Is the pricing based on square footage?
ThanksCongrats on the work, paid work is always good! I have done real estate photos for years and even web sites for individual properties, always enjoy doing it. One suggestion is to always watch the perspective, nothing worse that perspective distorion when using wide lenses, my 14-24 is my favorite and lightroom (Lens Correction) does a great job and the transform tools in PS. Have fun, beats the heck out of a wedding!

your 16-35/14mm lenses are excellent. youre stopping down anyway. try not to shoot wider than 24mm if you dont have to and take a bit extra in the scene so you can do a perspective control edit later on for the building tipping image were so used to.
