Len focus noise when shooting video with Z6

Hi,

I try shooting video with Z6 + FTZ adaptor + Nikon 50mm prime len.
My subject did not move a lot. I. was shooting in my living room. I was using AF-C as my focus mode.
During shooting, I periodically hear there is noise when the camera tries to focus the subject.

And when I view the mov file, I also hear that len focusing noise.

Is there a way to eliminate that len focusing noise? Is it became of my non Z series len?

Yes, it is the older f-mount lenses they make more focus noise. Ran across an article the other day that is one of the reasons the user prefers the Z-mount. Others have recommended an external microphone. As I don't shoot video I have no recommendations as to the best route.

It is rue, as @Needa said, the older F mount lenses have louder focus motors. The Z Mount lenses are almost silent. I don't shoot video, but I have several friends that do. Most all use seperate mics. They also swtch from F-mount to Z-Mount. They are grear lenses.
