For playback on my D7000, images were always numbered beginning with 1 (1/X, 2/X, 3/X, etc.) after deleting images or reformating cards. So the next set of pictures would begin again with 1/X.
With the Z6ii, the image number after deleting or reformatting begins with the next sequential number after the last image taken before deleting/reformatting was completed. So if the last image was 100-0120, then deleting/reformatting is completed, the next image taken will be 100-0121.
Why does the Z6ii keep remembering the previous image number ending even after deleting or reformatting?
Is this a normal function of the Z6ii or do I have something set wrong?
