    Z6ii ordered.

    After a few months of thinking should i or what, i ordered this yesterday, Z6ii 24-70 lens, battery grip (backorder) and the FTZ adaptor. Also ordered a new battery and 64 gb card. Now the long wait, its been shipped but probably on a snails shell. lol

    Still keeping my D500 it will be nailed to the 60-600 now, my D7000 is still on the 50-500.

    Congrats! If I remember correctly, you picked up the (full frame) af-p 70-300 f4.5-5.6 a few months back. That lens works really well on the Z6 via FTZ and has the same pulse motor found in the 24-70 f4 making it just as quick and quiet for video applications. I snagged the 24-200 trying to improve IQ over that lens, but it didnt. It just provided a conundrum every time I go out- bring the 24-70 & 70-300(with the FTZ) or just the 24-200.

    Z6ii ordered.
    I've had the Z5 for a couple months. Haven't been able to do a lot of shooting with it, but so far have loved the camera. I also got the 24-70 F4. Great lens, just wish it went out a little further. 24-105 or 24-120 would have been nice. Still, you get too much of a zoom ratio and things start to suffer.

    Takes a little getting used to coming from a DSLR. I really like a lot of the features, and it takes great pictures when I do my part.

    What made you decide to add mirrorless to your kit?

    Perhaps he decided because Nikon support of non-mirror-less hardware is being phased out!

    @Needa
    I can't speak for @Roy1961 but I've been loving the IBIS found in the FX mirrorless cameras. Also its been a pleasure using focus peaking, especially useful for old school manual lenses, (of which also get the benefit of IBIS).
