Auto to A setting

I found a beautiful old derelict house in the mountains. I took some shots with the Auto setting, got rich colors. Switched to Aperture setting and the images had a bluish cast. What causes this, how to avoid it?
thanks

Without seeing any examples it's hard to say, but, it sounds like full Auto may have used a warmer White Balance. That would be simplest explanation.

I had the same problem a few years back. All my outdoor photos had a blue tint to them. If I remember correctly, I had WB set for Incandescent light instead of sunlight.
