Z-50 Question

Received my Z-50 yesterday.
Went out today to do some shooting.
As I was shooting the view finder went black
and the photo showed up in the left top
corner. So had to wait for it to move out of the way.
Which took about 5 seconds. So I could
not shoot again untill I could see through the view finder.
So what is causing this? Is it a setting or something else?

Thanks

Welcome to the forum,it sounds like you have the image review set to on, if you turn it off in the menu it will only show images when you press the play button.

I think we need a little more information, bayoushooter. Did the actual viewfinder where you place your eye go black, or are you talking about the screen on the back of the body? The image wouldn't appear in the upper left of the viewfinder.

If you press a wrong button, the image on the back screen can become smaller and appear in the upper left. However, that shouldn't affect what is viewed through the viewfinder. A half press of the shutter will turn off the rear display.

Like Mike mentioned, you can turn image review off in your menu. And I think you can also shorten the duration of time that images remain visible on the rear screen.
