Take the Z50 as a base, add the Zfc flippy screen, completely remove the viewfinder and pop-up flash. Yes this is for holding with a selfie stick and recording video of yourself for Tic-Tok.

The blog/vlog world is an interesting one. I read an article a long time ago by a lady who had the worst problem in the world. She couldn't choose a paint color for the inside of her pantry. Her husband suggested 'gray.'
This camera is for a growing population. Lots of people vlog. Heck, I have friends who post every meal and every drink they have on vacation. If Nikon makes the Z30 user friendly and upload friendly, then it will make money."Connected to the universe by way of the star-stuff within"
Um yeahhhh, I shoot a lot of pics of my dogs.

It would good for Nikon if you are correct but most of the young people I know are glued to their iphones for everything including vlogging.
I was on holiday recently and I saw a few photographers all in the plus 50's age bracket. I did however see one younger lady maybe about 30 ish with two D6's dangling from her neck. I thought to myself that is a rare sight for someone so young.Peter

I think that the Z30 is a pretty cool camera for a focused audience. It moves the vlogger out of an iPhone into a much more capable camera. It is not for me. I blog and have no desire to vlog but I think of some of the pages that I check out that might benefit from a crop sensor camera like the Z30. It actually could be a good idea if they put some marketing dollars into it.

This is a lot more than a selfie stick vlogger camera, it's a very capable video camera. A LOT of people have been asking for this very camera for a while, now. I'm sure it will sell quite well.
I don't shoot video, but those who do are going to be able to get a very capable camera at a very reasonable price point.nikonbill Thanks/liked this post
