    Hurt Feelings!

    Hurt Feelings!
I feel badly. I told this fellow that by the looks of him he had eaten plenty already. I think I hurt his feelings...

Hilarious and captured so well, Woody! So do you like your Nikon 200-500mm lens? How does it compare with your Tamron super zoom? I know the Tamron has an extended focal range, but is the overall quality of the Nikon the same or better?

I sold the Tamron right after getting the Nikon. The Nikon focuses faster, more accurately, and is sharper in my experience.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Woody. While I'm not in the market for a super zoom due to their weight, if I ever do reconsider, I am definitely interested in the Nikon. I've read so much about your issues with the Tamron, and after having a Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 that just didn't cut it, Nikon lenses have been so much better IMHO.
