Lion Climbing Sequence.....

I count three.
Bottom left, Just left of the trunk fork & Right of the trunk fork.

More I think. Five in this pic I think, then I have climbing sequences of three, after this pic was taken, so when all was said and done when we drove on, thinking maybe up to eight, plus there were two more females lying on the ground, and the males were probably close by as well.

great shots ed, a tip, if you want to space your pics, go to the right hand side of each pic with your cursor, hit the spacebar twice, then hit enter twice.

BTW, looking up a tree would probably be the last place i would be looking for a lion, so i would be eaten quickly. lol

Thanks, will try that. I too was not aware that lions climbed trees until this trip. A day or two before this, we encountered a pair way up in a tree. So excited to see this, that we didn't bother to look around for a while, and maybe see what was in the brush near the bottom of that tree.
