nice one , lens is on my list to get in about 6-12 months

must of been pretty dark the iso had to be pretty high with still a pretty slow shutter for that lens , obviously the vr works well enough

Which Black Rapid were you using and I'm assuming that you did not have any other support? No monopod, or lamp post, etc.? Good shots and I am just trying to figure your technique or is it like your location.... Restricted info. Ha!

Grizz, I use the standard over one shoulder Black Rapid attached to the bottom of the camera. The camera slides up when I want it very easily. I shoot with one hand on the lens, near the camera. The MF ring is nearest the camera and that is very convenient. You know you're carrying the rig, but it isn't that heavy or a problem. The VR eliminates the need for a tripod for me, but you'll notice all the speeds are pretty fast. Lugging a tripod or monopod would be more of a burden than handheld. But, that's me.
