Nothing to be afraid of. This wolf looks submissive with it's head down.

If he were submissive his tail would be between his legs rather than out behind him and his ears would be back rather than standing straight up. His head is down because at the time he was staring in my direction, likely trying to determine if I was a threat of some sort.
