    I went out hunting, early one morning, with Andy and had been taking pictures of a Northern Harrier and a Sparrow Hawk when what I thought at the time I took a picture of a funny looking Sparrow Hawk. Later when I looked at the pictures on the computer I realized it was a Peregrine Falcon. We don't have many of them where we live so I was very happy to have capture this one on camera.

    Do you happen to know if this is a Cooper's Hawk? The streaking goes all the way down its chest. The thing is it doesn't look quite so tubular like a Cooper's Hawk. And am assuming it isn't a Red-Tailed Hawk since it lacks the white crop.

    Yes, juvi Cooper's. Quite small and still a clumsy flier/hunter. I wish there had been some sort of light, as it posed nicely.
