Please post your images and user comments/suggestions in regard to the Nikon 10-24mm Ultra-Wide. Please be specific to the focal length utilized.

I'll start us of with a group at 10mm,

At 12mm,

There is definitely a learning curve when shooting with a UW, not being perpendicular to the subject throws off perspective. These elements can hurt, or we can learn to use them to our advantage.

Swing set at 10mm,

I'm finding corner softness as expected with any UW, sharp everywhere else. Distortion is very controlable through technique and correctable to a certain degree in lightroom. This image was not corrected.

I really like the Globe shot, it pulls you in as if it is about to roll in a marble shoot of the ceiling.
Thanks! I got pretty lucky with the lighting, the centering of the globe, and no one being allowed to go in the library. Also, there wasn't an elephant in the room. Literally:

(yes, it's a full size elephant - not photoshopped - more info here)

I'm enjoying the versatility of the range on this lens. The first image is a 3 shot HDR at 10mm and the second is a single exposure at 24mm.

Another orange flower at 12mm. I shot this in raw and surprisingly I did not increase the color saturation or vibrance at all.

Here's a couple train shots, both tonemapped,

At 10mm,

At 19mm,

I've decided I like the 16-85 better for moving objects. It's hard to get close enough to a moving train to appreciate the wide end of the 10-24
