Doubt between tokina 12-24mm f4 and 11-20mm f2.8

I'm in doubt about these 2 great lenses. I mean there is no doubt about which lens is better but price difference between each other is more than significant, more than 200£. My main goals for shooting with it would be landscapes and sunsets and I wonder how tokina f4 is going to satisfy the needs and desires. Is it going to perform much worse or not in comparison with f2. 8 for landscaping photography? Moreover, I found out that Tokina 11-16mm looks great too which price is almost the same like 11-22mm...

I used to have a Tokina 11-16 mm f/2.8 when I shot with a D7100. It is a great lens, however I don't remember ever needing to use it wide open shooting landscapes and sunsets.
Now I shoot wide angle with a Nikkor 20 mm f/2.8 on an FX body, and still not needing anything larger then an f/5.6 for landscapes and sunsets.

I would still recommend the f/2.8 however. You may not need it, but how about down the road? You might want to shoot something other then landscapes and sunsets that might require a larger then f/4 aperture. I say, that if you can afford it, go for the f/2.8 lens now so you won't have second thoughts about it later.

If budget is tight, the F/4 will do very nicely as well.

Agree completely sir. Well for now I will spare the horses and wait a little bit more and hopefully get 2.8 in a couple of months 👍

I found a deal for 12-20 f4 in great condition for 270 euros. The guy just accepted exchange for my kit lens which lowered the price slightly. What do you think?
