So after my vacation last month I thought my gear bag might benefit from a wider lens. A Nikon magazine I got pointed me towards this lens and from what I'm seeing it's really good for the pretty low price I can get it for.

Anyone ever use this lens?

yes, i am happy with what is does for the price. It helps to have software which can reduce or eliminate distortion.

It's a great lens for DX. I bought it initially for light painting wide angles then moved on into night photography and wished I had paid the extra for the f3.5 version. Depending on what you want to use it for think about the f3.5 lens.

Yes and I love it. It's light and sharp. I'll try to search through my older files to show you what it can do.

Basically just landscapes, day and night.

I would get it if I were shooting Dx; back then I had the Nikon 10-24 which was very nice but probably on par with this 10-20.. It's one of those rare bargains with great IQ, underrated underdog of a lens :).

Yeah, no kidding. When I saw the price I figured there was a catch but doesn't seem like there is. Obviously it's not the best wide angle lens out there but it's better than the price would have you believe.

Hi xlDeMoNiClx did you get the Sigma lens, if so what you think of it?
No, I didn't. From what I've read though it's really good so if you're thinking of getting it it sounds like it's worth a try.
