Have you used or got the Nikon 16mm 2.D fisheye?

Hello I am very interested in this lens. It looks great. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I rented both it and the Sigma 15mm for a weekend side-by-side trial. I opted for the Siggy. Better IQ.

The Nikkor, sadly, is an old design. The D dates back to '90s, and the optics are based a lot on the (even older) 16mm AI ('70s).

Rumor has it the lens is due for an upgrade to a G, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I used both with film. sigma edged it it out a bit. getting one soon. the sigma is not cheap but the nikon is too much.
