No Old Stone Architecture of note in this area. I took this picture yesterday at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Baton Rouge. I know it's not what you are looking for, but I thought it was pretty so I posted it!

I wish I took this recently, but it was taken in June 2010 in Chartres, France:
Not for judging!

He may not be old, but he's definitely "ROCK HARD"!!! He's also the "STONE" on which Post-Katrina New Orleans has been built!
Thanks to Drew for allowing me to take this picture. By the way, he really is as nice as everyone says he is!

I failed to say that I took this picture with the very fancy camera on my iPhone 3GS.

And who might this be exactly? I don't get this at all. A local hero?

Sorry, I forgot that not everyone is from Louisiana. This is a picture of our Super Saint QB Drew Brees. Drew often takes his kids to the local park. I was lucky enough to catch him out for a walk and asked him if he would allow me to take a picture. I have to say that he is one of the finest human beings I know! He is truly the rock on which the Spirit of New Orleans has been rebuilt!

This is the old prison in Sherbrooke. It's not a prison anymore, but you can feel the darkness and the severity of this building just by looking at it.

Here's my entry - old but not too old
The upper arch (7 spans) is the Pennsylvania Railroad finsihed 1904, the lower arch (3 spans) is passenger car (Lincoln Avenue) completed 1906, intersect at 90 degress. Also note the RR arch is slightly curved.
