"Person interacting with Time" - (Moab Man)'s Choice

Shoot a portrait which contains a person relating to/interacting with a time piece. A child looking at a pocket watch for the first time, a person fixing a watch/clock or a person wearing a watch. Anyway, some kind of interaction between the person and the timepiece. Let's see how creative you can be! Color, B&W, HDR...anything goes!

DO NOT SHOOT OR POST IMAGES UNTIL WEDNESDAY Jan. 10
This early announcement of the topic is to give a little think time, before the challenge begins. Photos must be taken and submitted between 00:00 UTC of the start date and 00:00 UTC of the end date.

INSERT PHOTO(S)

The Rules

1. Photos must be captured with a Nikon and appear in the thread with EXIF info in order to be considered for the challenge. If the forum EXIF viewer does not show for any reason, listing the camera and capture date/time below the photo is acceptable. Listing exposure info, lens & focal length is encouraged so others can learn.

2. Any photo submitted for a weekly challenge must be taken during the dates specified in the challenge thread.

3. Only one photo entry per member for each week, unless otherwise noted.

4. All regularly active members of Nikonites are allowed to participate, including moderators and administrators.

Voting

During the submission & like periods, please click the Thanks/Like button to vote for your favorite images. You can vote for as many as you want! At the end of the week, you will have the opportunity to vote again for the top 3 photos for this challenge!

There will be no cash or prizes awarded for the Weekly Photo Challenges, unless specifically noted by the site administrator.

Any photo will be accepted for the challenge. Edited or straight out of the camera, it does not matter. You are left with complete freedom to do whatever genre of photography you wish to do, and your own interpretation of the challenge subject.

Looks like george needs to work on dates.

OK, let me ask so I know if I need to work on my dates. Going off of UTC time "Photos must be taken and submitted between 00:00 UTC of the start date and 00:00 UTC of the end date.", my shot is on the 10th, UTC. The post, "This one is just in "time" to be live. Shoot away." has a time stamp here locally of 1-9-2018, 5 p.m., but was probably 00:01 a.m. UTC and not 5 p.m. January 9th. We also shut this down by the end of day January 17th UTC, but locally I would still have have 7 hours to shoot if we were going off of my local time.

By UTC start and stop times, not local, my photo was shot 6:01 a.m., January 10th, UTC, difference being time zones which for me is -7:00.

I now lay my case before the judges to decide if we are using UTC time or local time.

(Not being hostile, just looking for clarification because I waited for the, "Start your engines, GO!" post before going out to shoot.)

For clarification, Moab Man 's entry appears to be good. It was shot six hours after the start time (if he is in Roy, Utah which is on MST). His entry is good to go.

GEORGE - WALT, sorry for my confusion.

No offense taken. Easy enough mistake to make.

I would ask that a moderator remove all our posts regarding the confusion so that other members aren't held back from voting for my image.

Again, no harm. :)

It strikes me that this whole exchange, ironically, fits the theme of this week's challenge. Too bad I cannot think of a good way to turn it into a picture to submit as an entry.

OK, so I don't have anything else, and I'm not likely to before the time ends for this challenge, so here's my entry—people interacting rather clumsily with time.
