Create a Scene ( Moab Man 's Choice)

Using whatever tools you have, create a scene. Control the set, the lighting, direct your subject, and edit. Let's see how creative you can be! Color, B&W, HDR...anything goes!

DO NOT SHOOT OR POST IMAGES UNTIL WEDNESDAY Nov. 29
This early announcement of the topic is to give a little think time, before the challenge begins. Photos must be taken and submitted between 00:00 UTC of the start date and 00:00 UTC of the end date.

EXAMPLE: This is a simple window blind with light shining in. Dressed him in a vest, button shirt, and an old English style hat while holding a glass of apple juice to simulate a drink. Then directed him to peek out the window like he's watching or hiding from someone. Converted to black and white for that classic look.

The Rules

1. Photos must be captured with a Nikon and appear in the thread with EXIF info in order to be considered for the challenge. If the forum EXIF viewer does not show for any reason, listing the camera and capture date/time below the photo is acceptable. Listing exposure info, lens & focal length is encouraged so others can learn.

2. Any photo submitted for a weekly challenge must be taken during the dates specified in the challenge thread.

3. Only one photo entry per member for each week, unless otherwise noted.

4. All regularly active members of Nikonites are allowed to participate, including moderators and administrators.

Voting

During the submission & like periods, please click the Thanks/Like button to vote for your favorite images. You can vote for as many as you want! At the end of the week, you will have the opportunity to vote again for the top 3 photos for this challenge!

There will be no cash or prizes awarded for the Weekly Photo Challenges, unless specifically noted by the site administrator.

Any photo will be accepted for the challenge. Edited or straight out of the camera, it does not matter. You are left with complete freedom to do whatever genre of photography you wish to do, and your own interpretation of the challenge subject.

Less than 24 hours to get submissions in on this one. Post 'em if you got 'em!

I've got my D500 with me this week, but didn't bring any lights (as just expecting landscapes, possibly) but will have to see what I might be able to put together in a short time.

Absolutely, get something turned in. I don't like to play with myself... wait a minute. That does not sound right. :)

I laughed so hard thinking, "Hand over the ice cream!" Love the detail in the tank.

Your imagination is better than mine, here. I was just thinking, lacking any better idea, of trying to depict this model tank threatening something, anything. The only other object that I had that was of an appropriate scale was this truck, a relic from a factory where I used to work until it was shut down in 2013. I didn't really imagine any story beyond that. The truck's markings identify it with the Jos. Campbell Preserve Company. It's an anachronism; that is a name by which the company in question was known in its early days, but by the time trucks existed such as this model depicts, that company had come to be known by the name which it uses to this day—The Campbell Soup Company.

Anyway, I think it works better to imagine the tank demanding ice cream from this truck, than canned soup, or other preserves of the sort that a Campbell Soup truck would be carrying.
