"Motorists" - (Wornish 's Choice)

Everyone knows what a motorist is. Now all you have to do is find some; good, bad, unusual, good looking, on a busy super highway or back road, or even on the sidewalk. Let's see how creative you can be! Color, B&W, HDR...anything goes!

DO NOT SHOOT OR POST IMAGES UNTIL WEDNESDAY JAN. 13
This early announcement of the topic is to give a little think time, before the challenge begins. Photos must be taken and submitted between 00:00 UTC of the start date and 00:00 UTC of the end date.

The Rules

1. Photos must be captured with a Nikon and appear in the thread with EXIF info in order to be considered for the challenge. If the forum EXIF viewer does not show for any reason, listing the camera and capture date/time below the photo is acceptable. Listing exposure info, lens & focal length is encouraged so others can learn.

2. Any photo submitted for a weekly challenge must be taken during the dates specified in the challenge thread.

3. Only one photo entry per member for each week, unless otherwise noted.

4. All regularly active members of Nikonites are allowed to participate, including moderators and administrators.

Voting

During the submission & like periods, please click the Thanks/Like button to vote for your favorite images. You can vote for as many as you want! At the end of the week, you will have the opportunity to vote again for the top 3 photos for this challenge!

There will be no cash or prizes awarded for the Weekly Photo Challenges, unless specifically noted by the site administrator.

Any photo will be accepted for the challenge. Edited or straight out of the camera, it does not matter. You are left with complete freedom to do whatever genre of photography you wish to do, and your own interpretation of the challenge subject.

Stupid.

When you're driving, you need to be paying attention to your driving. You could cause an accident that way, that could result in people being killed or injured.

LOL. Seriously? You think I was actually looking at the camera instead of the road?!? Hence the fact that it was held up one handed off to the side for 4 seconds and on a road with a 20mph limit and almost no traffic ever. I may do lots of crazy shit that risks my own safety, but I damn sure am not about to risk anyone else getting hurt. Get over yourself and think before you insult people.

WTF Dude? How do you know how fast he was going? Maybe he was doing 5 MPH pulling into his driveway. Who the hell made you traffic cop anyway?

Point taken on the priorities when it comes to driving. As a motorcyclist, I'm very aware of distracted driving and the threat to others. That said, I also believe Dave and trust that he was aware of his situation much more than we can infer of the situation from just the picture.

You just did exactly that, and posted the proof of it here. You behaved in a manner that is stupid, dangerous, and irresponsible, and, depending on your jurisdiction, very likely illegal.
This is a warning Bob, as much as you are allowed to have an opinion, you should refrain from using some demeaning words to describe other peoples actions or decisions. You are not a judge nor a moderator on this forum and I sincerely wish you don't use words that can be offending to other members of our respected Forum.

I will ask you to remove this last post, or remove the offending word. If you don't, I'll give you an infraction for having insulted another member.

I did edit your first post to remove the offending word and hope you will do the same with your second post.

Thanks for respecting our curtesy politic.

Don't worry about it, Marcel. I'm not offended. A bit surprised and bewildered at one individual's ability to show; yet again, their total lack of respect or restraint while commenting without consideration for the facts. No reason for edits. If he wishes to have everyone see exactly how he feels and cares to express himself, so be it. Let everyone judge for themselves whether or not to accept his diatribe or blow him off as just being obnoxious and rude.

Let's just get back to your regularly scheduled weekly contest.
