    Wedding editorial shots

    Wedding editorial shots
Not a wedding, but models dressing in wedding gear for a bridal magazine. Shot over 2 days. Was good fun. This is a selection of the unedited images that get sent to the magazine for them to pick the ones they want.

Nice work Kevin. Is shooting for the magazine a good way to play without the stress of a wedding or just the opposite? Ha!

Heaps easier in the sense that you are working with professional models who know how to stand and hold themselves. They do need a little direction in regards to faces - most models don't smile much and it takes a bit of fun banter to extract that out at times. Stressful in the sense that the images are being looked over very carefully by an editor who looks at thousands of images so their expectations are very high. That said this was the 3rd year (6th shoot as 2 magazines annually) they have gotten me back so I must be doing something right.

Some day, I'm going to be Kevin's hired lens cap holder, just to be a part of these shoots he does.

I saw a photo of him holding a gigantic lens--not sure if it was the 200mm f/2, but I've got to ask, Kevin, what size lens cap does that lens take? I'll bet you can play frisbee with it!
