Mates casual NT Style wedding

Lucky it was a casual wedding, but still a bummer for that to happen. How long did it take to cool down enough to be useable again ?

I thought you had a Nikon flash anyway.
It took around 2-5 mins to cool down.
I do have a SB910 but that has been playing up and will not work on the hot shoe for some unknown reason. Will be looking at new flashes in coming weeks. Trip to States has been confirmed for early November, so I will need it by then.

Hi Scott, I have the same overheating problem with my SB900's is there any way of over coming this? Or do I have to buy newer model?

I think the issue was fixed in the SB910 as I have never had an issue with that speedlight only my Yongnuo.

I've overheated my 568s when shooting TTL and doing a few rapid candid shots in quick order. I haven't noticed any problems with the 910s ... they're solid.
