Thank you, Scott...
I usually buy from B&H or Adorama for Photo gear.
But they are closed til next week...

So I may have to go this (Amazon) route...

I love shooting macro. Yet, I am not near as good
as the beautiful macros I see posted here,
including your own...
It is fun to keep trying, though! :)

I am sure you will be taking amazing pics that we all will be awe of.

Agreed! But know that it's not just the photo. The editing is what really brings out the intricate details.

I think you are really right. Most of mine are sooc, perhaps some cropping, and resizing...
I have just started to "fiddle around" a little. I like the abstract, and infrared / ultraviolet pics...
so, that is a lot of fun.
But I really do not have a clue to the really in depth PS or LR programs everyone uses.

Good insight in this, Moab Man... thanks :)

Yes editing does play a big part, I will post a few before and after shots later.

To be a photographer in the digital age requires so many additional skills beyond the camera. And when you learn the photo editing with any of the various programs you will then realize how much more you want to know. LOL it's such a vicious circle.

Ahhh... the learning... and where does the time come from?
from taking more pictures, I guess....

Vicious circle, yes, indeed.... :)
