I think this want/need deserved it's own thread! :D

Is there anyone here who has a D700 in great condition with low actuations, who is willing to sell it to me on a payment plan? Yes I know this is a lot to ask, but I'm really wanting one, and it seems like my best chance at this time to buy one. I can pay $50.00 twice a month till it's paid for. I wish I could do more, but both my wife and I are disabled and living on a fixed income.

So I hope somebody here will be willing to work with me! :)

I picked the D700 for a few reasons! The top reason I have to admit is because it's the cheapest FX I'm interested in. Lol :) But also it's like a sister to my D300 with lots in common! :) Sure I'd love a D3s, but there is no way I can afford to pay higher payments, even though it's an awesome model from all I've heard. :)

Anyway thank you very much for reading and considering my offer! :)

I've always wanted a full frame Nikon. But I want it for scenery shots, and such. I'm not getting rid of my D300. I'm just wanting to add a Full frame to go with it.

You know that a used D700 will cost you more then a new D7100?
As a friend, I'm going to have to advise against this wild endeavour. LOL:dejection:

Yes I know the price for full frame is higher, and I'm quite satisfied with my D300 for my DX needs! :)

I'm not totally positive, but I also believe that the D700 is built just as good as the D300 and uses the same battery and battery grip! Anyway I count those as a plusses in my book! :D

Bill...Im gonna be blunt...If you want FX..Sell two or if not all 3 of your cameras to get a D610....The sensor and processer is better then the D700...
Always strive to go forward ....Just my 2 cents...

I can't do that at this stage, especially after my wife put up with me and my photography spending so far. That big of a jump just isn't possible for me anytime soon.

Bill - I'm afraid that I will side with your wife on this one.

Based on your current and previous posts about your limited financial dillema, your photography should be on the lower priority with regards to your expenses since you just got your D300 several months ago which should provide plenty of opportunities to suppress your NAS craving. NAS will continue to strike everyone and it will just keep on going. This will just lead more to financial stress that you do not need.

Being more on the realistic point of view, people here who has a D700 will be hesitant to let go on their camera. I could be wrong but try not to raise your expectation.
