Tamrac expedition backpack accessories need!

Hi all! I have a couple great Tamrac expedition backpacks, but my Tamrac expedition 5 was used when I bought it. Anyway it is missing one half of the smallest buckles, and so I'm hoping one of you might have one you don't need! The buckle part I need is the male side of the buckle, of the smallest buckles on the pack! If anyone has one I'd love to hear about it, and what you'd need for it! :)

The photo is a stock photo of my Tamrac expedition 8x backpack, but the buckles are the same! So if you look at the tripod straps, that is the buckle size I'm talking about! :)

Hey Bill, if you don't have any luck finding a OEM strap then check out the Think Tank straps. I bought one of their Urban Disguise accessory assortment kit and it comes with different types of straps. I found them very handy.

Another suggestion would be to check craft or sewing stores such as Jo-Ann Fabrics. They tend to carry these types of buckles as well as the webbing. :)

Just to clarify. I don't need any webbing and I'm not interested in replacing the whole buckle. The female portion of the buckle is sewed on and all I need is the male side of the buckle that just threads onto the existing webbing.:)


But I sure appreciate the cool links and ideas! :D

Even though you aren't the original owner, have you checked with Tamrac? Maybe they will send you a replacement buckle piece. :)

Nope, I never even thought of that idea! Lol If I can't find one here, I think I will see if Tamrac will send me the piece I'm needing! Thanks buddy for the great idea! :D

Tamrac: Toll Free (800) 662-0717 ;) Just makin' it as easy as possible for you. Tamrac is my favorite brand of bag. I called the company once asking some questions before buying a bag, and they were quite helpful with their information. Hopefully they will have a buckle piece for you. :)

Well my new buckle from Tamrac arrived! Not just the part I needed, but the whole buckle! Lol :D
I installed the piece I needed as soon as it was out of the package! Woohoo! :D
