Looking for a new home for my D3X

Hi all,

I started my photography business about a year ago and due to the "economic climate" and having to now move to France to care for my father, I have had to shut up shop so to speak.

Hence I have sold most of my gear and am now finally selling my D3X.

I have sold it once on ebay however the buyer turned out to be a Nigerian conman who sent me cleverly faked emails looking like they were from paypal and ebay themselves.... Thank gawd I didn't fall for it.

Anyway, due to my own financial crisis (don't want to talk about it) and circumstances I have re-listed the camera and need a very very fast sale. I will accept £2000 and the unit is like new with valid warranty, boxed and includes all the booklets, cd roms and leads.

Visit the listing here if you are interested or contact me directly please via the forums mail system.

Yes its very cheap but I have a mortgage payment outstanding and I have movers to pay and it all needs to happen today.

I will not entertain anything other than Paypal, its safer for both parties and I have been stung already by conmen so please don't try anything like that.

Looking forward to getting back on my feet and wishing you all well.

This for sale add does not meet our criteria. Please post in the proper for sale forum WITH your user name written clearly on a piece of paper with today's date.

Otherwise this post will be considered suspect and we suggest members do not respond.

I noticed in your description that you say you will delete bids less than 1400, but you have a starting bid at 250, deleting bids will confuse and potentially anger potential buyers since you don't have a reserve but by deleting bids, you essentially have a reserve.

Much better to just set the minimum bid amount to the lowest that you will accept which in this case is 1400 (or even 1200 to get the bidding started),

The other option is to set a reserve, but I never like reserves,, because it is fustrating bidding and not being able to get the item, because the reserve is never met.

So,,, For all my auctions, I put a starting price,, which I am not super happy, but find acceptable, and then hope for a bid up (which happens).

anyway,, good luck,,

Hi Matt, when you have time, please post a picture of the camera and all that comes with it. In addition, you need to include a piece of paper with your username and date on it, within the picture. Best of luck
