I've got a D750, which looks like it's only compatible with the Zhiyun Crane 2 and 3, which I don't think are being sold any more.
I think this means that I can still put it on any number of gimbals, I just won't be able to control it through the handle. It'll just be a robotic flycam. Is this correct?
If so, that wouldn't be the end of the world because a gimbal would still be easier to use than an actual flycam. However, this youtube claims that you can't use Nikon live view with any gimbal. Is this true?

If that's true, my options are shooting blind while wildly waving the gimbal at stuff or buying a monitor. Is this correct?
I'm just trying to see if my understanding is correct because, if is is, it seems like my options boil down to cheap flycam + live view or Weebill S / Crane 2s + monitor.
I planned on getting a monitor one day in the future anyways, for focus peaking, but that day is not now and that's an extra $700 I don't want to spend right now.
Does anyone have advice?
