Strange noise when recording video on D3200

Hello,

I've had the D3200 for awhile but I never tried to record a video with it. The other day I gave it a shot and there are very weird blue dots and lines across the video regardless of the lenses I use or the modes and setting that I select. Here's a short clip:
Zippyshare.com - DSC_0006.MOV

It occurs only over darker areas and changing the shutter speed and/or ISO has minor effects on it but I cannot get rid of them completely.
Any ideas why this is happening and how can I fix it?

Thank you!

More light.
I have a D3200, and for most of the photos I take it is quite adequate. But I do find its low light and high ISO settings leave a lot to be desired.
I would say that what you are seeing is random electrical noise, I suspect you shot in quite low light with a high ISO. If you do a still shots the noise reduction systems have time to work, with video the data rate makes this all but impossible.
Firstly I would try the same shots with more light, and a higher ISO, making sure you get the dark areas, to compare the noise. If the problem is still evident then I would suspect some problem with the camera, causing excess electrical noise.
My gut feeling is this is just one of the limitations of the sensor. Had a look through my photos as I had a similar effect. The file I have attached is shot in portrait mode, hence the different angle of lines, the flash didn't fire hence the low light shot at ISO 100, resulting in noise.
Reason for edit, this is a close crop of an image.

Re: Strange noise when recording video

Hey, thank you very much for the response!

The noise that I'm getting is indeed reduced if I shoot the videos at a higher ISO but it's still there. The defect causing electrical noise sounds logical as I've looked around the net for videos shot by the D3200 and they seem to be pretty nice without any visible noise as in my case.

Unfortunately, most of the time I have to shoot videos in places with relatively low light and I have another camera that's pretty good in that, however, it only has fish eye lenses so I wanted to use the D3200 as alternative. Won't be the case unless I find out how to get rid of those blue dots...

Thanks again for your time!

Let us know your settings, lens used and I'll have a go with my D3200 when I get chance, see if mine is the same.

Re: Strange noise when recording video

I tried with both lenses:
AF-S Nikkor 35 mm 1:1.8G
AF-S Nikkor 18-55 mm 1:3.5-5.6G

As for the settings, I tried almost everything. Shutter speed doesn't seem to matter and I tried all kinds of ISO from 100 to 6400 and the noise is still there :(
