I wish I could find the story but I thought you were going to comment on the video where the guy planned out a marriage proposal at a location where the moon would be rising behind them as they were photographed from a mile away. The telephoto shoot made the moon look larger than the couple.

The kicker here is that in planning this, he had to wait out over 1 year for all the right angles to line-up. God only knows what the backup plan was if it rained that night. I wonder how the future bride felt about being made to wait 1 year for that proposal just to make a media splash?

He actually waited to propose to get a shot? He must have been confident she would stick around for another year and say, "yes."

Cool idea, but they had to do a composite thanks to the weather.

When I was looking for the article, I found people getting engaged in front of a twister and an aurora. Our own Moab Man has an image of his daughter being proposed to under the last full solar eclipse. I am too lazy to plan something like that out.
