Great shots Scott. Here in the high desert of Utah we just don't get that kind of lightning. Hmmm, maybe I need to take a trip back to Miami, Florida so I can shoot some lightning like yours.

Thats it, I am moving to flat grounds. I have gotten my lightning shots. But, not enough.

We haven't had lightning since last summer. So when I saw that first flash of lightning I was already grabbing up the camera, camera rain coat, and the tripod. Of fifty images this was the best. As is the normal, our lighting tends to stay within the clouds and this was the best I could get. But, it's the first shot of the year and hopefully more to come.

Who would have thought my second lightning shot of the year would come just 17 minutes into the next day. Much better lightning display this time.
