Hi, I just wonder if somebody, have experience with Tamron LD 28 mm - 300 mm F/3.5-6.3 II Di LD XR VC IF Lens For Nikon A20NII. I want to get the good telephoto lens for my D7000 and I cant decide which one. What I like about this one that it has a macro in it. Any suggestions?

I would recomend buying two lenses rather than trying to cover everything in a single lens.
The Nikon 18-70 and 55-200 would give you miles better IQ in a far better and usable package.

Super Mod
I don't know about the 28-300, but I do have the 28-200 and find it OK. It's not a 70-200 2.8 VR II, but it's way lighter. The weight is the thing that I love about this lens. My model doesn't have Vr though. I got mine for $ 125 on ebay so I'm happy for the bargain. When I got it, I needed something to use on my D700 so this was the first tele zoom I got for the 700.

If the price is right, you might enjoy it until you get the dough for the real 70-200...

That changes things a bit lol. The 16-85 is the best all round lens available for Nikon DX.
I would still recomend the 55-200 here though. Its realy cheap, but despite being cheap it puts in
a realy seriously decent performance at all focal lenghs and apratures that even the more expensive stuff cant match.
200mm on apsc still gives you a pretty decent 300mm angle of veiw. Unless your determined to go to 300mm of course.
Most zooms that run to 300mm always perform rather poorly at the 300mm end of the range though.
There might be one out there that breaks the rule but my knowledge ends at 200mm Im afraid.
If you can stretch your money a little further, I highly recomend the tamron 70 200 F2.8. Again... 200mm though :)
