WILL THESE LENSES BE COMPATIBLE? PLEASE HELP ME =(p ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED

Hi,

I have a motorsport/ burnout event to photograph this weekend.

I will be using a Nikon D3100 & a AF-S DX VR Zoom-Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6G IF-ED

But I'm stressing myself out trying to find something else that's compatible, I can use along with lens;
that will not only help beef up the performance of my camera but also the quality of my photographs.

Or do you believe the lens alone will be sufficient for the event.

Absolutely any information or help will be very useful & appreciated!!

The lens you have is perfect and an excellent performer !
Just watch your shutter speeds. Try and keep a shutter speed of around 1000 sec or faster.
Shoot JPG and high speed for your frames per sec and use continuous focus.
If you are forced to use a higher ISO than 800, switch to RAW and switch to single frame and catch the moment.

This. The 55-200 is a great lens for the D3100.

A prime or the 18-55 VR DX lens might be helpful for the pits and other off track areas.
If you have bright sunlight an ND filter might be helpful.
