HI guys
At the risk of starting a civil war, any thoughts on these lenses and why? Using the lens for wild life (not human), motor sports, and aviation. Body will be 7200 or F5. thanks guys.

I don't have any experience with the Sigma variants to add meaningful context there, but would recommend the Tamron 150-600mm G2 version for what you're looking for. I had the older 1st generation model before switching to the Nikon 200-500/f5.6. Based on some testing with the Tamron G2 over the weekend ... the performance in AF speed and VC has been greatly improved. Assuming the budget allows you to stay with new kit, the Tamron G2 would be the first lens I would rent and test more thoroughly.

In reference to the Tamron 150-600mm: Are you looking at the A011 version (first generation), or the more recent A022 (aka the "G2")? There's a significant difference between them. Assuming you mean the latter, I would suggest it over the Sigma. Absolutely.

I went for the Sigma lens over the Tamron A011 (first generation) as I felt the Sigma was slightly better and Sigma had the docking device. However, the new Tamron G2 also has a docking device and had it been available when I got my Sigma, I would have considered it. However, that being said, I am very happy with my Sigma on my D7200.

When i looked at the Tammy and Siggy 150-600 and the Nikon 200-500, the one that seemed to have the edge in the shootouts was the Siggy Sport
