Question on Tamron 150-600

Hi Guys
I have been looking at photos taken with this lens. How do you tell if it is first or second gen?

As far as I know, nobody on Nikonites has a G2 yet (I could be wrong here though). So if the photos you are looking at are on this forum, I think its pretty safe to say they were taken with the original model.

All my Tamron 150-600 shots are the original version
