Tamron V Sigma 150-600

From this it seems the sigma does better, though the crane shots have a lot of haze! Not that this info fits my needs, since I'm not a bird photographer nor am I like to be stalking wild animals much! Lol So a good 300mm Nikkor prime lens should fill my needs very well with my 80-400mm Nikkor af-d lens!
But I have to admit, these high powered lenses are appealing, even if I don't need them! Lol :D

But interesting comparison my friend! :)

You can always use Google Translate, though it doesn't help very much here.

The "resolution-near" test looks so bad for the Tamron, that I suspect it wasn't fine tuned for the camera. The real-life pictures, for example from our forum, show that the two lenses are rather similar.

That's a downside to that lens period. At 600mm it usually requires a drastically different fine tune adjustment than any other focal length. It's the biggest reason I got rid of mine in favor of the Sigma which I enjoy a good bit more. No focus freeze either.

I didnt find that with mine,i fine tuned at 600mm wide open at what i felt would be my normal closest working distance and it was sharp at all focal lengths

Honestly you got a lucky copy Mike. Most people didn't find that was the case when reading a lot of reviews about it.
