I just got my Tamron 150-600 and I'm starting to get a feel for it. So far I'm liking what I see. I did some handheld slowish shutter pics this morning (with no coffee) and Vibration Control ON. The VC is pretty active (way more than my old Sigma 150-500) and anticipation is key.

These were snippets taken directly from Lightroom with no post except for some cropping. Last 2 are at 100%. Photos should all be at ISO 640 and F8 or F7.1 with shutters ranging from 1/60 to about 1/125 all at 600mm. Definitely digging this lens.

Give me a round-trip plane ticket, pay for hotel, meals & car rental, and oh, say, $500/day (US) per diem............. and I'll deliver one to your door.

I think I might learn a thing or two with this lens. It's definitely met my expectations. Didn't see a warranty card in the box. I'll have to contact Adorama, it should have come with a 6 year I believe.

PapaST You go online to Tamron-USA to register your lens. It also does a serial number verification. When did you order your lens? I ordered mine the end of Feb and I'm like a little kid at Christmas. I see all these pictures and reviews and I want mine. Good Luck and have fun with the new lens.
