Ordered a used one from eBay after reading all the great reviews about it, especially compared to the price of the Nikon one. It had a bunch of dust and smudges on both ends of the lens, but a quick cleaning revealed it was spotless, thankfully. I don't know how someone could keep a lens in that kind of shape, especially if you were selling it, but oh well.

It's my first time with a lens this large, it's hard to keep it steady handheld, but I got my monopod and tripod to help with that. And I definitely realized you need to use the shutter speed rule if you don't want a blurry picture.

Took a bunch of pictures of the dogs and got this pretty neat shot I think. Shows the detail pretty good, this was just above f/3 something if I remember right. Used one of my SB-600s to help out.

This is my first time using my phone to upload a picture, so if it didn't work or if it is took small let me know.

Definitely recommend this lens to anyone, so far :) it also found a new home in my case

I read a bunch that the autofocus was slower, and something else that swayed me, I can't remember now, it feels like it has been forever since I ordered it.

The pic looks great...When Matt Granger tested them all, Tamrons focus was actually faster..But all that matters is you are happy..Enjoy it..Cant wait to get a 70mm-200mm someday..

I think I watched the Matt Granger Review. Some stupid test of low light capabilities taking shots in an underground garage focusing into the far back corner of an almost black car space. Ridiculous. So unless your going to be taking photo's of that 'subject', I'm sure under most normal circumstances, you will be more than happy with this lens.

Thanks, It helps a lot, the 18-200mm lens I used to have struggled when taking pictures inside, this and my other lens are great in low light when I need them to be

Matt Granger does not do reviews like that..He takes real life photo comparisons...lol

Yeah we have 2, want to get a third one and start a sled team. They are a LOT of work and have lots of energy, but they make up for it with how cute they are.
