Thanks guys !!!! It was a long cold day, but free drinks and food in the press room helped to make up for it lol.
The shots were taken between F5.6 and F8. This is why I choose to work with APSC.
Early in the day it was a bit brighter and I was able to shoot at 800 ISO but later I was forced to switch to 1600 ISO as
light levels dropped. The quality has dropped a little on the downsizing of these pics but they will do lol.
All were shot in JPG at high speed. I had one of the other Press guys take a pic of me in front of Berches fence, just to show
the scale of some of these jumps. Im 6ft tall and its well taller than me lol. Its sad that Two of the fallen horses died during the race.

A little more info !!!!!
The third pic down is the winning horse and moment. I beleive it was the first grey to win the grand national since 1963.
The guy jumping the small hurdle had obviouly drank one too many lol. I do have the full sequence and he does indeed go right over !!!!
I dont think he realised..... there is a water trough on the other side of that fence lol lol lol lol lol
If you look closely.... you can see the shock on his face as he spots it lol lol lol

One of the other press guys just mailed me this pic lol
This is me in front of one of the jumps. Im 6ft tall so it shows the scale nicely. This was taken early morning
while making my plan of action and scouting my spots. View attachment 10488

This is probably my favorite shot and would love to see a tighter cropping to isolate the horse and rider in blue/white.
