Unique Hockey shot

I shot this photo this weekend while covering a game for our local college. I caught the puck right as it struck the goalie in the chest and there is what appears to be water vapor from his wet jersey splashing out, while the puck appears to be 1/2 embedded in his chest. Damnedest thing I have ever seen. No one in the press room afterwards had ever seen a shot like it either.

I actually figured it out that a 100mph slapshot travels 146 feet per second. So even at 1/1000 it was so lucky to get that exactly split second captured.

That is a great shot. I've played hockey all my life and that is a once in a lifetime shot.
