Scramblers

While I was in the park today I came across these riders on their trail bikes, it was a flat course with no jumps and as I was limited on time I grabbed some images with the 28-300mm on the D810 so see how it performed as a combo using CAF.

Thanks Paul,

I am using the back focus button and love it so easy to use for single/continuous focus, have to say I am also impressed with the 28-300mm on the D810 as I have heard differing stories about its performance - happy with mine!

Thanks Donald,

I am happy with the combo and today's weather brought out the bikes and presented a great photo opportunity.

I used to go and watch scrambling almost every weekend with my dad, haven't been in years but your pics have made me want to go and find out where its going on locally.

Sorry Moab,

Brit terminology - but Lee has explained it well.

I was hoping it would be a bit "more active" with jumps etc but alas it was quite tame!

@Lee532 @Iansky

I was figuring it was a sport you did on dirt bikes. But I'm sure we Americans drop plenty of words on the rest of you that don't make a whole lot of sense. In the end it helps me to be bilingual. I can speak English and American. :)
