    not sure what you mean Charlie, i thought the 50-500 Sigma (only sigma i have) would not work with any Nikon newer than the D7000, i think Nikon changed something and Sigmas couldnt read them, i never matched them up btw.

    You mentioned a firmware update to work with the D500, so I was curious if you had a problem with a Sigma lens not working ... that you had to send back to Sigma for a firmware update. Maybe I misunderstood.
